Plenty of natural light, great music and incredible vibes. Our studio isn't just a place to sweat, it's a place to breathe, stretch, strive and succeed.
Our instructors love what they do, and it shows. Each one is certified in their field, and regularly attends (or leads!) seminars and workshops about new trends and techniques.
Owner & Instructor
Joining a gym at age to 18, I quickly joined the group exercise classes and learned the value of a quality instructor and how being part of a group is everything about exercise (for me!)
Becoming a group exercise instructor in 2000, after attending a YMCA exercise to music course in London, was brilliant and I have loved every single minute since.
I keep my professional development up-to-date, and try to attend at least one course per year to keep myself, and my team, interested!
Now, realising my dream to open my own studio, I hope to surround myself with like-minded people and instructors and create that camaraderie that sometimes goes missing.
I look forward to seeing you at Deanslade.

I’m a Mom to a fab four year old boy who keeps me fit at forty lol
I’ve always had a big love for health, wellbeing and fitness but also having a balance with a glass of wine or two lol
I’ve always been into all sorts of activities, sports and athletics at school and after that, I got into the gym and classes, this led to my love for street dance, where I trained with a crew for very long hours for around 7 years.
I’ve ran sports and dance clubs for adults and kids for over 15 years. I currently teach and I am fully qualified in fitness classes, Dance, Yoga, Aerial and Pilates, in schools and gyms. I love it! It does not feel like work. I thrive off sharing my passion and motivation and seeing people feel good and achieve their goals.
I’m continually learning, I love taking part in all sorts of activities from water sports, skiing to pole fitness and travelling around the UK and Europe to an array of workshops and fitness events.
I’m passionate about the benefits of exercise for our all over wellbeing and self esteem. I like to be eco friendly and resourceful as much as possible, and cycle and walk to wherever I can. I love nature and growing my own fruit, veg and gardening. I love food, a big reason why I like to keep active. I really enjoy cooking and making healthy creations.
As I increase in years I especially appreciate the benefits of keeping fit and active but also having the balance with resting and looking after your body with restorative yoga and massages.

Fitness has been a huge part of my life and now being able to share this passion with others through instructing classes has always been a goal for me.
After graduating from university I qualified as a Personal Trainer and Group exercise instructor and haven’t looked back since.
After retiring from Cycling for GB I turned my focus to running, specifically Ultra Running. I use my experiences as an elite athlete to guide, inspire and motivate my clients and class attendees. I’ve always found that mixing with like-minded, upbeat and inspirational people does as much for your mental health as the physical work in the class does for your fitness.
I have experience working with all age groups and abilities and tailor the classes to cater to suit those who attend. Fitness should be about enjoyment and not just about ‘burning those calories’.
Being able to be part of an individual’s fitness journey, no matter the end goal, is massively rewarding and what drives me to provide the best classes I possibly can.
Can’t wait to see you at Deanslade

I am Sarah. I grew up in Lichfield and since then have spent the past 14 years teaching dance in the UK, Bermuda and most recently Cape Town , South Africa.
I have over 16 years of experience working as a fully qualified ISTD Modern, Tap and Ballet teacher . Over the 16 years I have also taught RAD ballet, pointe, conditioning and jazz classes to both children and adults across the globe. When the pandemic hit South Africa in 2023, I found myself leaning towards yoga, a practice that made me feel grounded, optimistic and above all else, good. I went on to complete my 200HR yoga teacher training programme with Wellness Connection, Cape Town and I then continued my children’s training with Cosmic Kids UK and Yogi Bearz SA.
I moved back to the UK in January 2023 and opened the Happy Human Collective. Teaching children over the years and the transformation within them was the catalyst for Happy Human Collective. I believe every child is equal and deserving of the chance to express themselves fully and safely, and this is at the heart of everything we do at Happy Human.
I look forward to sharing my love of dance , movement and fitness with you all.

Now living in Lichfield author Karen Lovell, (pen name Cait O’Sullivan) has a deep love of words, music and magic, having had the good fortune to grow up in Ireland.
The wanderlust in her blood sent her out to travel the world and then, reluctant to give up on following her dreams, she started writing. After publishing four books, she got waylaid into studying shamanism for four years.
Now, she is combining her three major loves (excluding her hubby, daughters and red setter) of traveling, writing and shamanism into guiding you on a journey through meditation. Karen has an amazing sense of calm during her sessions and they will leave you not only relaxed but also deep in thought and wonder.

I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years and I’ve found it invaluable in helping to manage some complex health conditions and also anxiety.
I love Vinyasa flow yoga as the breath to movement style is like a moving meditation. Vinyasa can be a strong practice but I love to teach a multi level option class so it is beginner friendly through to experienced yogis.
I am friendly, caring , open and a life loving person who is ready to inspire you on the mat.

My name is Nat and living a healthy and fit lifestyle makes me feel alive and inspires me to help others experience this too. The mental and physical benefits of exercise have brought so much energy and positivity to my life.
My enthusiasm for fitness led me to get my personal trainer qualification, and a year ago me and a fellow PT decided to start a fitness bootcamp together. We run our bootcamp in Northampton every Saturday, focusing on functional training to help people feel happy, confident and to move better in their day-to-day lives. What I love about bootcamp is the community that we have built through exercising together.
As well as my sessions at the gym, I especially enjoy Pilates, pole/aerial training, yoga, swimming and gymnastics

I’m Katie and I fell in love with yoga during my pregnancy with my first daughter. I felt a beautiful connection with my baby when I learned to use restorative poses, relaxation and meditation. Yoga and pranayama really helped me through the birth of both my daughters!
My yoga practice really flourished when I discovered vinyasa flow and ashtanga yoga. I felt so alive, I loved the meditative flow and energy surging through my body whilst stilling my mind. This was the inspiration for completing my 200-hour YTT. I soon began teaching yoga in the community and thereafter founded ‘Soul Yoga & Relaxation’.
I am a busy mother to two daughters and a secondary school teacher; specialising in Post-16 education. Teaching is an incredibly fulfilling career and I love working with teens, no two days are the same. However, all this means that my yoga mat is my sanctuary. I design yoga and meditation lessons that reduce stress, move the body and calm the mind because this is what I need too!
My daughters inspired me to teach kids’ yoga and mindfulness. I run retreats and workshops to allow yogis to explore the practices at a deeper level and escape the busyness of everyday life and come back to themselves.
My favourite place is the beach at sunset or walking in nature.
So that’s me – Katie – I look forward to guiding you through ♥️

Hello there! I'm Izzy, and my journey with movement and rhythm began in the echoes of my earliest memories. As a little one, I was captivated by the enchanting world of dance, which kindled a lifelong passion.
My steps led me to the UK, where, missing the familiar swirl of dance, I stumbled upon the vibrant beats of Zumba. It was love at first dance! This newfound passion inspired me to become a Zumba instructor in 2015. That very year, another dream took flight – I began training in martial arts, adding a new dimension to my repertoire.
Driven by a desire to evolve as an instructor and enrich my fitness journey, I plunged into diverse exercise forms. From the exhilarating rush of running to the disciplined focus of strength and conditioning classes, and the graceful fusion of dance, Zumba, and martial arts – each discipline adds a unique beat to the rhythm of my life.
My dedication is anchored in solid qualifications – I hold a Level 2 Exercise to Music and Gym Instructor certifications, along with Zumba and Zumba Gold licenses. But the journey doesn't end here; I'm currently working towards my Personal Trainer qualification and have plans lined up for a Pre and Post Natal Exercise course.

I’ve been in the fitness industry since 1995.
I’ve qualified in group exercise and progressed onto Group Cycling, Step, Aqua, Body Pump, Body Balance and taught good old fashioned aerobics and body conditioning.
Due to minor injuries I found a real interest in the more holistic style classes, Pilates and especially Yoga, mind, body and spirit.
I love this industry and the diversity of all the styles of classes out there.
More than anything, I love meeting the people who attend the classes and the impact that this industry has on everyone.
I never take this job for granted. I feel privileged to have this “job” / passion.

I’m an Experienced Yoga Teacher (EYT) and Yoga Alliance Professional (YAP). I suppose with a surname like Hathaway it was my destiny to become a Hatha Yoga teacher!! I specialise in Hatha and Yin Yoga, Pranayama (conscious breathing techniques) and Trauma Resilience Embodied Yoga (TREY).
I’ve practiced yoga on and off for around 30 years and I am passionate about sharing the wonderful transformational aspects of this ancient practice for the MINDBODY and soul.
Yoga has given me the tools to cope with whatever life presents to me and let’s face it, we never know what’s going to happen! No one expected us to have a global pandemic to have to cope with! The fact is that we aren’t always in control of what happens in life, however, we are able to control our RESPONSES to these events, and enable ourselves to self regulate and maintain equilibrium of the MINDBODY.
In my previous life I was in a stressful sales and marketing management role that eventually resulted in burnout. I struggled with clinical depression for a whole year.
Thankfully, this was when I discovered Yoga. Initially, it was relaxation techniques that I needed, but I quickly realisedthere was so much more to this amazing ancient practice and began to explore the Eight Limbs of Yoga. I now have my own toolbox of techniques to call upon whenever I need them. This isn’t necessarily when I’m on a yoga mat! It may be after I’ve taken a phone call that has been stressful, or when I’m sat in traffic, late for an appointment. Or before I have a meeting that I may feel anxious about. Or find myself awake in the middle of the night and unable to sleep.
Sounds familiar? Well the GREAT news is a regular yoga practice can help dispel anxiety and assist in easing the above and so much more!
For me, yoga is a way of life; it enables me to enjoy life more fully. It has improved my relationship with myself and with others.
I’m a fun loving yogi and adventurer who’s partial to a nice G&T! I’m also a champion ice cream eater! I love my family and hanging out being silly and laughing with my friends; it’s what I call Balance!

Kelsey Taylor has been teaching yoga since 2013. With an initial passion for practising and teaching Hatha and Vinyasa, Kelsey soon realised that everyone that comes to a mat has different needs and reasons for being there. In her quest to support those who practice with her, she has undertaken further Yoga Alliance Professionals teacher training with Sally Parkes to deepen her knowledge of women’s well-being. In addition to her 200hrs, Kelsey is now certified to teach pregnancy, post-natal and fertility yoga. She has also completed Menopause Yoga training with Petra Coveney.
Kelsey’s personal practice was naturally drawn to a slower tempo in 2018 and she discovered it was Yin like in nature. She started to explore how stillness rather than movement affects our health. Kelsey has completed Continuous Personal Development with Paul Grilley. Insight Yoga Training at Primary Level with Sarah Powers and further training with Bernie Clark to advance her Yin knowledge.
Having two children, Kelsey understands how the family unit benefits from yoga. Kelsey has undertaken various Children’s yoga and physical activities training with GroupXTraining and more recently a YA Children’s Yoga with Yogamoo. Kelsey wants yoga to be accessible to as many people as possible and has also completed a Special Yoga course for Children with ADHD and Autism.
Kelsey’s exploration for self-discovery has allowed her to teach yoga in schools and studios both in the UK and Norway. She loves the outdoors and being in touch with nature. Kelsey classes herself as a lifelong learner and loves to expand her knowledge about the body and mind, she does this through reading, researching, and attending courses and workshops. Kelsey then loves to weave her new knowledge into her practices so she can share her passion with others.
